What You'll Do8
- 1Transport preloaded, no-touch freight from the distribution center to stores across the regional operating area.
- 2Complete up to 2,500 miles per week on assigned routes, with 2–3 days out per trip.
- 3Communicate daily with dispatch via Samsara or phone, confirming schedules and updates.
- 4Meet scheduled departure times and delivery appointments, adapting to route changes as needed.
- 5Handle metro loads under 200 miles with an average of $110 per load, plus $25 per stop after the first.
- 6Earn detention pay at $30 per hour after 2 hours at appointments, and follow Koch vacation and holiday policies.
- 7Operate safely and comply with DOT hours-of-service regulations at all times.
- 8Maintain professional communication with store personnel and dispatch, ensuring high-value freight is handled securely.
Requirements7
- 1Valid CDL-A license.
- 212+ months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 5 years.
- 3Pass DOT and company hiring requirements.
