Overview
Drive tractor trailer or straight truck safely and efficiently across intrastate and interstate routes while delivering and unloading food products. What You'll Do8
- 1Conduct comprehensive pre and post trip safety inspections of vehicle and trailer per DOT regulations
- 2Report all safety concerns and initiate immediate repairs
- 3Follow all DOT and company safety policies during operation
- 4Unload freight and process customer returns at the end of each shift
- 5Maintain accurate records and adhere to hours of service requirements
- 6Secure all equipment and materials within trailers
- 7Assist with various duties as assigned by management
- 8Uphold safety standards for freight handling throughout delivery process
Requirements11
- 11 year commercial driving experience
- 2Valid state driver's license and CDL
- 3Age 21 or older
- 4Pass pre-employment drug screening
- 5Meet PFG Motor Vehicle Report requirements for past three years
- 6Obtain FMCSA clearinghouse clearance
- 7Complete road test successfully
- 8Ability to lift and handle 60 to 90 pound loads
- 9Strong English communication skills
- 10Experience with lift gates and two-wheelers
- 11Flexibility to work Sunday through Thursday schedule
