What You'll Do8
- 1Deliver catering orders to venues across Boston, following routes and schedules
- 2Load and secure food, beverages, and equipment, then unload at event sites
- 3Coordinate with kitchen, bakery, and event staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- 4Setup and break down catering functions, including tables, linens, and serviceware
- 5Track deliveries and pickups, recording times, locations, and signatures
- 6Communicate delays or issues to the operations manager immediately
- 7Inspect and maintain vehicles, reporting maintenance needs promptly
- 8Assist with last-minute procurement and prep for next-day deliveries
Requirements8
- 1Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- 21+ years delivery driver experience, preferably in catering or food service
- 3Knowledge of local traffic laws and Boston routes
- 4Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on your feet
- 5Strong attention to detail for order accuracy
- 6Excellent communication and customer service skills
- 7Flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- 8Successful background check required
