What You'll Do9
- 1Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations, ensuring timely arrival.
- 2Log and maintain food temperatures during transport and service to meet safety standards.
- 3Arrange tables, decorations, and buffet lines with food, beverage, and service items per event specs.
- 4Serve food and beverages to guests with a friendly, courteous demeanor throughout the event.
- 5Thoroughly clean event areas during and after functions, then break down setups and return leftover food and equipment to the facility.
- 6Distribute and collect customer comment cards to capture guest feedback.
- 7Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment to keep operations ready.
- 8Follow safety and sanitation policies at all times, including proper use of cut gloves and slip-resistant shoes.
- 9Maintain in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand to answer guest questions.
Requirements8
- 1Previous catering experience is preferred, showcasing event service skills.
- 2Hold a valid driver's license or be able to obtain one, as driving a catering truck may be required.
- 3Possess a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit as required by state law.
- 4Ability to lift and transport heavy items, up to 50 pounds, during event setups.
- 5Flexibility to work on-call shifts, Monday through Sunday, with varying hours.
- 6Comfortable standing for long periods and moving in a fast environment.
- 7Strong attention to detail for event setup and food presentation.
- 8Ability to work both independently and as part of a team under supervision.
