What You'll Do10
- 1Organize prep tickets for production at shift start, prioritizing orders by delivery time.
- 2Prepare hot and cold food items per recipes, using Texas Food Handler standards.
- 3Deliver and set up catered lunches at client sites, using a hatchback vehicle with proper capacity.
- 4Maintain sanitary practices: hand washing, sanitizer buckets, and clean workstation.
- 5Follow food safety rules during handling, storage, and transport to prevent contamination.
- 6Work with speed and urgency during peak prep, coordinating with team members.
- 7Assist with kitchen cleaning: sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes.
- 8Interact with clients courteously, smiling and thanking them, to ensure satisfaction.
- 9Cross-train in other kitchen areas as directed by the manager.
- 10Execute directions from the manager for daily production and delivery schedules.
Requirements9
- 18+ years in food service, including food preparation and delivery.
- 2Texas Food Handler certified before starting.
- 3Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and auto insurance.
- 4Working vehicle with hatchback or higher interior volume, no sedans or pickup trucks.
- 5Documentation proving legal U.S. work authorization (Photo I.D. + Social Security Card/Birth Certificate or Passport).
- 6Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- 7Ability to work in a team environment.
- 8POS system experience desired.
- 9Ability to commute to Austin, TX 78757 and relocate before starting work.
