What You'll Do8
- 1Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience at the register.
- 2Assist customers in the self-checkout area, resolving issues and guiding them through the process.
- 3Scan and bag items accurately, ensuring correct pricing and handling of merchandise.
- 4Manage cash register, process payments, and conduct exchanges following store policies.
- 5Answer customer questions about products, prices, and store policies.
- 6Maintain a clean and safe workstation, including sanitizing the register area and organizing bags.
- 7Support other departments as needed, such as stocking shelves or retrieving carts during peak times.
- 8Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager on duty.
Requirements8
- 1Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
- 2Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
- 3Experience using a computer for inputting, accessing, and modifying information.
- 4Ability to lift 10 lbs unassisted or 15 lbs with or without accommodation.
- 5Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state law.
- 6Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
- 7Bilingual skills preferred.
