Overview
You will provide non-medical support to seniors and disabled clients in their homes, enabling them to stay independent. You'll assist with bathing, dressing, meal prep, and companionship. The role demands a caring, respectful approach. You'll join a San Diego-based team with weekly pay and flexible hours.
What You'll Do8
- 1Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming during morning routines.
- 2Support toileting and incontinence care with dignity and respect.
- 3Prepare meals and help with feeding as needed.
- 4Perform light housekeeping including laundry and dishwashing.
- 5Provide transferring and ambulating assistance to maintain mobility.
- 6Remind clients to take self-administered medications at scheduled times.
- 7Accompany clients to appointments and run errands using your own vehicle.
- 8Engage clients in conversation and activities to prevent isolation.
Requirements7
- 118+ years old and legally authorized to work in the US.
- 2Valid HCA number registered with the state of CA.
- 3Active TB certificate and Home Care Aide registry clearance.
- 4Completed LIC 508, LIC 501, and SOC 341A forms.
- 55 hours of entry-level orientation training before starting.
- 6High school diploma or equivalent.
- 7Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in San Diego.
