What You'll Do8
- 1Remind clients to take medications on schedule.
- 2Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outdoors for doctor appointments and walks.
- 3Support personal hygiene tasks like bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- 4Guide clients through physical therapy exercises and other recommended routines.
- 5Accompany clients to shopping or run errands as needed.
- 6Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping tasks clients can't manage alone.
- 7Report any unusual incidents to the Care Coordinator promptly.
- 8Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies, following the care plan and safety standards.
Requirements8
- 11+ years of previous home care experience.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- 4Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
- 5Knowledge of housekeeping and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
- 6Compassionate and respectful with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- 7Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
- 8Must be reliable and able to work full-time or part-time in Darien, IL.
