We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Better Is Better LLC in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Caregiver will provide essential support and assistance to children and individuals with disabilities, promoting safety, development, and well-being through attentive care and engaging activities. What You'll Do9
- 1Provide attentive supervision and care for children across various age groups including toddlers preschoolers and elementary school-age children
- 2Assist with daily routines such as feeding bathing dressing and personal hygiene
- 3Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning social skills and physical development
- 4Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and environments to meet individual needs
- 5Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols including first aid and CPR procedures
- 6Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding progress concerns and daily updates
- 7Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare
- 8Support behavioral management strategies to foster positive behavior and emotional regulation
- 9Collaborate with team members to develop individualized care plans tailored to each childs needs
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons experience working with children in daycare babysitting or early childhood education settings
- 3Certification in first aid and CPR is required with ongoing training preferred
- 4Classroom experience or teaching background in early childhood education is highly desirable
- 5Knowledge of infant care practices and toddler supervision strategies is essential
