Business Systems Analyst 2 - Cascade Application Support
Overview
You will own the analysis and support of the Cascade Application for the Bonneville Power Administration in Vancouver, WA. You will work onsite 2-3 days per week, collaborating with a technical team to ensure the application meets business needs. This 12-month contract at $63/hr on W2 offers a chance to apply your analytical skills in a federal energy context. You will focus on requirements gathering, system testing, and documentation for a critical power administration system.
What You'll Do8
- 1Gather and document business requirements for enhancements to the Cascade Application within the first 90 days.
- 2Conduct system testing and validation of Cascade Application changes to ensure quality delivery.
- 3Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- 4Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency in using Cascade Application.
- 5Create and maintain functional specifications, use cases, and test scripts for the Cascade Application.
- 6Support user training and create training materials for the Cascade Application.
- 7Manage change requests and track defects using industry-standard tools.
- 8Ensure compliance with federal regulations and BPA standards in all system changes.
Requirements8
- 15+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
- 2Experience with Cascade Application or similar energy management systems.
- 3Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation.
- 4Strong understanding of system development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- 5Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- 6Experience with SQL and data analysis for troubleshooting.
- 7Ability to work onsite in Vancouver, WA 2-3 days per week.
- 8Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
