You'll own every in-store demo at Costco, turning samples into sales at high-traffic locations across San Francisco. You'll stand at the front lines of the brand, engaging shoppers, answering questions, and driving repeat purchases. Working with a small field team, you'll set up, run, and tear down events with precision. This role thrives on energy and hustle, with a clear focus on daily sales targets.
What You'll Do7
- 1Set up and run product demos at Costco, greeting customers and driving trial of premium gourmet items.
- 2Talk one-on-one with shoppers, breaking down ingredients, flavors, and usage ideas to spark purchases.
- 3Build a lively, welcoming atmosphere that turns a routine grocery trip into a memorable experience.
- 4Track inventory and stock levels per event, ensuring samples and product never run dry.
- 5Keep the demo station spotless and organized, clearing spills and debris to prevent accidents.
- 6Coordinate with store staff to align on placement, signage, and demo timing.
- 7Break down the setup at event end, packing materials and reporting daily sales numbers.
Requirements6
- 11+ year in retail sales, live demos, or customer-facing roles like server, host, or cashier.
- 2Comfort standing for up to 6 hours per shift and lifting 30 pounds of product and equipment.
- 3Reliable and self-directed, showing up on time across multiple Costco sites.
- 4Willingness to travel within a 10-15 mile radius and adapt to varying weekday and weekend schedules.
- 5Strong conversational skills that turn small talk into committed product trials and final purchases.
- 6Ability to read customer cues and tailor pitch on the fly without scripted lines.
