Brand Advocate, Square at Best Buy Retail
Overview
You will own Square product sales and brand presence at Best Buy locations in North Los Angeles, driving sell-through and associate engagement. You'll train store staff on Square hardware and software, turning them into confident advocates. You'll work 15 flexible hours weekly, reporting to program leadership. This role blends field sales, training, and merchandising for a leading fintech brand.
What You'll Do6
- 1Drive sales performance in assigned Best Buy locations by building relationships with store associates and executing in-store demos.
- 2Deliver Square product training that boosts associate confidence and recommendation rates during scheduled shifts.
- 3Identify sell-through opportunities based on store traffic patterns, staffing levels, and product placement.
- 4Submit accurate daily reports on sales activity and training outcomes within 24 hours.
- 5Maintain reliable scheduling and communication with program leadership, working independently across multiple store locations.
- 6Build rapport with store managers and associates to secure prime display space and promote Square adoption.
Requirements6
- 12+ years retail sales experience, ideally in consumer electronics.
- 2Proven ability to train and influence store associates in a retail environment.
- 3Strong relationship-building skills within national retail chains like Best Buy.
- 4Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between stores.
- 5Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting and scheduling.
- 6Ability to stand and engage customers for extended periods, and lift up to 25-50 pounds for merchandising.
