Behavior Technician (RBT) - ABA Therapy
Overview
Open Doors ABA, a Finni Health company, seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children in school, home, and clinic settings in Antioch, TN. You will implement behavior intervention plans designed by a BCBA, collect data on client progress, and participate in supervision and team meetings. This full-time role offers $26-$28/hour, PTO, mileage reimbursement, and health benefits, with support to obtain RBT certification.
What You'll Do7
- 1Deliver in-person ABA therapy one-on-one in school, home, and clinic settings.
- 2Follow behavior intervention plans designed by a BCBA to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
- 3Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors using data collection tools.
- 4Participate in supervision sessions with a BCBA to refine techniques and address client needs.
- 5Attend required team meetings and training sessions to stay current on therapy protocols.
- 6Adapt therapy activities to each child's individual needs and developmental level.
- 7Maintain a safe and supportive environment during therapy sessions, including physical activities.
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2Experience working with children in a care or educational setting.
- 340-hour RBT training completed (required).
- 4RBT certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain within a set time frame.
- 5CPR certification (preferred).
- 6Reliable transportation and ability to commute within a 45-minute radius of Antioch, TN.
- 7Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities including kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, and standing for extended periods.
- 8Pass a background check.
