Beauty Advisor at Sally Beauty - Sales & Product Knowledge
Overview
You will own the customer experience at the world's largest hair and beauty supplier, guiding shoppers through product selection for hair color, cosmetics, skin care, and nails. You will work directly with customers on the sales floor, building relationships and driving loyalty program enrollment. Your expertise will be supported by extensive Sally Beauty training, ensuring you stay ahead of beauty trends. What You'll Do8
- 1Build customer relationships and inspire loyalty through personalized beauty consultations.
- 2Recommend complementary products based on customer needs and preferences.
- 3Inform customers about current promotions, events, and loyalty program benefits.
- 4Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotions.
- 5Ensure customers are enrolled in the Loyalty program and understand its perks.
- 6Complete sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- 7Maintain a clean, professional store environment and communicate inventory issues to management.
- 8Demonstrate Sally Beauty culture values in every customer interaction.
Requirements7
- 11+ years retail or customer service experience preferred
- 2Passion for beauty and willingness to learn about hair, skin, and nail products
- 3Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally, including while on a ladder
- 4Comfort with prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- 5Ability to work around moving parts, carts, or machines
- 6May be exposed to fumes, odors, or irritant chemicals occasionally
- 7Eligibility to work in the United States and complete employment verification
