Bartender, Sushi & Sake Bar
Overview
You own the bar at RA Sushi, delivering standout guest experiences through precise, friendly service. Mix signature cocktails and sake selections while managing high-volume orders. Work alongside a tight-knit team in a fast-moving environment. This role sharpens your craft with Japanese cuisine knowledge and responsible service certification.
What You'll Do9
- 1Greet guests promptly, take beverage orders from servers or directly, and serve with accuracy.
- 2Prepare drinks per server tickets, following company standards and recipes.
- 3Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, including sake pours, to spec.
- 4Check IDs to verify legal age and report underage or intoxicated guests to management.
- 5Ring up all orders in the POS system, collect payment, and balance receipts.
- 6Stock the bar with tools and product, and report any defective equipment.
- 7Offer food items to bar guests and demonstrate deep knowledge of menus and promotions.
- 8Clean and sanitize glassware, maintain bar displays, and complete side work.
- 9Participate in catering events as scheduled.
Requirements7
- 11-2 years of bartending experience preferred.
- 2Previous experience with Japanese cuisine, particularly sushi and sake.
- 3Basic understanding of wine, spirits, and sake.
- 4Certification in Responsible Alcohol Service by applicable agency.
- 521+ years old per state law.
- 6High School diploma or GED preferred.
- 7eVerify eligibility to work in the U.S.
