Overview
As a Bakery Oven Operator at El Rancho Supermercado, you own bread production from dough to display, ensuring fresh pan dulce, cookies, and cakes stock the cases for our Dallas store opening. You will work with Bakery Equipment and a collaborative team that values integrity and customer service. What You'll Do9
- 1Operate Bakery Ovens to bake breads, cookies, desserts, and pan dulce to meet daily production goals.
- 2Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- 3Stock and face display cases, tables, and bowl boxes, rotating products to maintain freshness and discard expired items.
- 4Use Mixers and Blenders to prepare dough and batters for daily baking.
- 5Conduct Inventory counts regularly to track ingredient levels and place orders as needed.
- 6Communicate with management and team to resolve guest requests and production issues promptly.
- 7Maintain Food Safety and sanitation standards, cleaning equipment and work areas per health codes.
- 8Take food orders in person and by phone, ensuring accuracy and prompt service.
- 9Train new team members on oven operation and baking best practices as needed.
Requirements8
- 1Valid Food Handlers Card required.
- 21+ year bakery or food service experience preferred.
- 3Knowledge of Bakery Equipment like ovens, mixers, and blenders.
- 4Ability to operate Heat Sources safely and follow recipes.
- 5Stand and walk for 8+ hours per shift.
- 6Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs frequently.
- 7Basic math skills for inventory and pricing.
- 8Flexible schedule including early mornings and weekends.
