What You'll Do6
- 1Diagnose and repair vehicle issues across electrical, engine, drivetrain, brakes, suspension, and HVAC systems, using Tekmetric to document findings and recommendations.
- 2Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently, maintaining high quality standards while meeting flat-rate productivity goals.
- 3Inspect vehicles thoroughly, capturing photos and notes to support clear communication with service advisors and customers.
- 4Maintain an organized and clean work bay, ensuring tools and equipment are in good condition for daily use.
- 5Stay current with training and certifications, including ASE and ATI coaching, to keep your skills sharp and adapt to new vehicle technologies.
- 6Collaborate with the service team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of jobs, supporting the shop's growth and reputation.
Requirements7
- 18+ years of proven experience as an automotive technician, performing diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
- 2ASE certifications preferred, or a willingness to obtain them with company support.
- 3Strong diagnostic skills in electrical, engine, drivetrain, brakes, suspension, and HVAC systems, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- 4Own tools, with the shop providing specialty and diagnostic equipment as needed.
- 5Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, ensuring reliability for test drives and shop operations.
- 6Reliable, punctual, and pride in completing work correctly the first time, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- 7Team player who works well in a high-standards environment, communicating effectively with service advisors and colleagues.
