What You'll Do8
- 1Coordinate daily distribution and storage of china, glassware, linen, and silver to ensure availability across all outlets.
- 2Inspect sanitation procedures in all kitchen and dining areas, correcting any deviations from ServSafe standards.
- 3Oversee maintenance and functionality of dishwashers, glass washers, and pot sinks, scheduling repairs as needed.
- 4Track monthly expenses for cleaning supplies and equipment, implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- 5Lead team scheduling to align coverage with event calendars, managing overtime costs.
- 6Coach stewards on proper handling of glassware and silver to minimize breakage and loss.
- 7Conduct monthly inventory audits of china, glassware, and silver, reconciling variances.
- 8Enforce compliance with HACCP guidelines and local health regulations, passing all inspections.
Requirements7
- 11-3 years of stewarding or food service management experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent; ServSafe Certification required.
- 3Proficiency with spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel) for inventory and cost tracking.
- 4Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience training and motivating teams.
- 5Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts.
- 6Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a commercial kitchen environment.
- 7Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
