Application Engineer SENA Industrial
Overview
SENA Industrial seeks a technical leader to drive the launch and scaling of a next generation communication platform in North America. This role serves as the primary technical authority bridging advanced wireless networking with industrial applications while partnering with sales and channel partners.
What You'll Do11
- 1Pre-Sales Technical Support & Partner Enablement Conduct product demos and address technical questions during sales meetings
- 2Execute Proof of Concept installations and document performance results
- 3Deliver technical training to channel partners for independent installation and Tier 1 support
- 4Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and monitor early deployments for stability
- 5Act as technical point of contact for partner escalations
- 6Collect field feedback and feature requests to inform product roadmap
- 7Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales R&D and external partners
- 8Travel up to 50 percent within assigned region initially DFW expanding across North America
- 9Translate technical constraints into clear guidance for non-technical stakeholders
- 10Identify and mitigate technical risks proactively
- 11Lead development of enterprise communication solutions
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering field
- 23–5 years enterprise network engineering wireless solutions or technical field engineering experience
- 3Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales R&D and external partners
- 4Self-motivated with strong judgment for technical risk management
- 5Experience with communication protocols such as Wi-Fi Digital Mobile Radio Bluetooth Mesh
- 6Experience training or mentoring partner/third-party engineers
- 7Preference for experience with communication platforms and industrial applications
