Overview
Caplock Security seeks an experienced Application Engineer to serve as the primary technical support lead for core applications. You will collaborate with server and database administrators while maintaining clear separation of duties. This contingent role involves managing full lifecycle software support deployment releases security compliance and ongoing infrastructure across pre-production and production environments. Successful candidates will differentiate themselves through deep technical expertise.
What You'll Do11
- 1Install configure and maintain all software products used by supported applications
- 2Execute version installations upgrades and patch management
- 3Identify application-specific firewall and network requirements
- 4Provide hands-on technical support for data center migrations
- 5Handle interface and API setup and administration
- 6Offer primary technical support for breakfix incidents to ensure high uptime
- 7Direct support for code release processes in both pre-production and production
- 8Support application requirements driven by organizational transformation initiatives
- 9Lead implementation of Security Technical Implementation Guides and Security Requirements Guides
- 10Generate and deliver required STIG SRG output artifacts
- 11Research troubleshoot and remediate cybersecurity vulnerabilities found through scanning

- 1Seven (7) years of relevant experience
- 2Clearance Secret certification DoD 8140 8570 Certified (Cloud+ GICSP GSEC Security+ SSCP or greater
- 3U.S. citizenship
- 4Active secret security clearance or ability to obtain one
- 5Government security investigation eligibility
