What You'll Do11
- 1Build and maintain production data and ML pipelines including ingestion jobs and feature pipelines
- 2Implement RAG components such as chunking embedding calls and indexing into pgvector
- 3Write production-quality Python code with type hints tests and linting following team standards
- 4Instrument pipelines with structured logs and metrics to enable observability
- 5Reproduce and resolve bugs in pipeline and serving code while escalating complex issues
- 6Partner with Data Engineers and AI squad to deliver end-to-end retrieval workstreams
- 7Contribute test cases and sample data to evaluation harnesses and golden datasets
- 8Participate in design reviews and code reviews to build production judgment
- 9Maintain documentation and runbooks for owned systems
- 10Use AI coding assistants to accelerate development and review generated code
- 11Apply generative AI for documentation and status updates with validation
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering Machine Learning Data Science Statistics or related field
- 22+ years of experience building software data or ML systems with production exposure
- 3Familiarity with model deployment serving and monitoring concepts
- 4Exposure to structured feedback and code review processes
- 5Experience collaborating with Data Engineers or AI squads on retrieval features
- 6Comfort with Python as primary language and cloud environments Databricks Azure or AWS
- 7Working knowledge of ML engineering Python for data MLflow Prompt versioning LangChain LlamaIndex
- 8Understanding of RAG pipeline building blocks and vector store concepts
- 9Knowledge of model-serving principles latency throughput batching
- 10Proficiency with Docker Git and CI/CD practices
- 11Ability to take tasks from specification to tested implementation with minimal supervision
