Overview
SurgeU seeks an AI-Enabled Editor to produce high-quality content at rapid speeds. This role accelerates drafting research iteration and repurposing while preserving human ownership of accuracy judgment voice clarity and credibility.
What You'll Do16
- 1Draft and edit press releases media statements executive talking points FAQs web content bios student stories social copy and other communications materials
- 2Use AI tools to accelerate first drafts rewrites summaries repurposing ideation research organization and content adaptation
- 3Take ownership of quality for every piece of content regardless of origin
- 4Edit content for clarity structure tone accuracy brand voice and strategic intent
- 5Work directly with Manager Earned Media & Communications to translate messaging priorities into finished content
- 6Support Narrative & Content Strategist adapting core messages across formats and stages of the customer journey
- 7Turn complex source material into clear compelling human language
- 8Develop multiple versions of content based on audience channel objective and level of awareness
- 9Fact-check quotes statistics outcomes names titles claims and other factual content before publication
- 10Maintain SurgeU brand voice and editorial style standards
- 11Create guidance for AI usage in communications workflows
- 12Build test improve prompts to produce useful first drafts and reduce editing time
- 13Identify recurring editorial problems and improve workflow rather than fixing issues manually
- 14Partner with ORM and SERP teams on trust content FAQs reputation pages and other search-sensitive copy
- 15Support rapid-response communications when accurate high-quality copy is needed
- 16Repurpose strong source material into multiple formats without losing accuracy or context

- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading AI-enhanced content initiatives
- 35+ years experience with Python and AWS
- 43-5 years managing cross-functional communication projects
- 52+ years proficiency in React and Kubernetes
- 61 year developing SEO strategies for technical documentation
- 74+ years expertise in Google Analytics and HubSpot
- 83+ years ensuring compliance with FAIR principles
- 92+ years working with SQL and Tableau
- 105+ years creating scalable content architectures
- 113+ years collaborating with legal and technical teams
