Overview
You will architect and deploy production-grade AI solutions for a long-term contract in Raleigh, NC. You own model development from data exploration to MLOps deployment. You work on-site with the engineering team, bridging research and product. This role requires Python mastery and hands-on NLP experience, with a mandatory in-person interview.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design and build scalable AI pipelines for real-time inference.
- 2Develop NLP models for text classification and entity extraction.
- 3Deploy models to AWS using Docker and Kubernetes.
- 4Optimize model performance with PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- 5Collaborate with data engineers to integrate SQL and Spark workflows.
- 6Ship first MVP within 90 days, tuning hyperparameters and reducing latency.
- 7Monitor model drift and retrain with MLflow.
- 8Document architecture and APIs for cross-team adoption.
Requirements7
- 15+ years building AI models with Python and PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- 23+ years hands-on NLP including BERT or Transformer architectures.
- 32+ years deploying models on AWS with Docker and Kubernetes.
- 4Proficiency in SQL and Spark for data preprocessing.
- 5Experience with MLflow or similar model tracking tools.
- 6Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, master's preferred.
- 7On-site presence required in Raleigh, NC from day one.
